Our AI is highly accurate but not perfect. We recommend reviewing all generated recipes before publishing — particularly ingredient quantities and cooking times. Always verify against the original video to ensure accuracy.

Anything you've already downloaded or copied is yours to keep. Once your account reverts to Free, you'll go back to Free plan limits — you won't be able to export new PDFs or exceed the monthly caps until you upgrade again.

FoodGPT can process cooking videos in any language. However, the generated recipe card is currently returned in English only — support for output in additional languages is on our roadmap.

StepGen and Blogcast are built specifically for cooking content and work best on videos with a clear on-camera cooking process. Non-food videos may return incomplete or inaccurate results.

StepGen works with any publicly available YouTube cooking video. Private, unlisted, or age-restricted videos cannot be processed. It also needs the creator to clearly talk through the steps as they cook, and the video itself has to actually be about making a recipe. If either isn't there, StepGen won't be able to generate a recipe card.

Yes. StepGen relies on spoken narration to accurately extract ingredients, measurements, and steps. Videos with background music only or no spoken narration currently aren't supported — for best results, use videos where the creator talks through the cooking process.

Yes. Every StepGen recipe is fully editable — adjust ingredients, quantities, steps, or formatting before you export or publish, so it matches your voice and brand.

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider — FoodGPT never stores your card details directly. You can update or remove payment info anytime from your account settings.
